This video is centered around healing white masculinity. Related to this, we both understand that it is a slippery slope when men (although I identify as non-binary) come together to speak about misogyny and feminism.
I also want to let the view know that I recognize that body-centred healing around cultural trauma is something that has been lead by queer folks, trans folks, and women of colour before me, and continue to be. So when I speak about the importance of white feminists as allies in healing white masculinity, I say this with the understanding that the foundation of this work is QTWOC and that I am a part of this trajectory. I realize that excerpts from chats like this don’t capture all of our understandings on these matters.
